By accessing or using Task App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Task App is a web-based productivity tool that helps you manage tasks and projects with optional AI-powered prioritization. The service includes a free tier with limited active tasks and projects, and a paid Pro tier with unlimited usage.
You may use Task App as a guest (data stored locally) or create an account via Google sign-in or magic link. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
Certain features use third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). These features require you to provide your own API key. Task App does not store your API key on our servers — it is kept in your browser or encrypted in your Firestore document. You are responsible for any charges from your AI provider.
Pro subscriptions are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Prices are displayed at checkout and include applicable taxes. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled per Lemon Squeezy's refund policy.
You agree not to:
Task App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Task App and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your task data remains yours — we claim no ownership over content you create.
We strive to keep Task App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Task App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
